An Exciting Blessed Event in the Robert Stoll Family

Emma Claire Stoll was born yesterday, August 19, 2007. She was a fantastic birthday gift for her big brother, David, who was also born on the 19th of August. She weighed in at 8 lb. 3 oz and was 21 inches long. Mother and baby are doing totally wonderfully well...needless to say, we all feel tremendously blessed.

David entertains himself in his mommy's absence. Bob has taken two weeks off to care for him and to help Genie. Genie should be coming home in four days...she had Emma by C-Section.

"Keeping Fit" or "A Job Well Done"

Today, Thursday the 16th of August, Guenther and Caleb tackled the tall weeds on the Lancaster's property. Here are the before and after photos.

Caleb is taking a little break here...this summer has been incredibly hot...and today is no exception. Good work, guys!

The kids are standing on some stairs, so you may be fooled by their various heights. Summer, Drew, McCall, and Mike..."hi there, you cousins our age in England and Alaska. Grandma wishes she had you here with us."

Grandma thinks that these kids like this gift shop in the museum best of all the displays.

Today we went for a drive in Millcreek Canyon...just 10 minutes from our house. What a lovely place it is. Here are a few photos.

Sunday, August 5th, 2007. Tami, Nancy, McCall, Drew, and Apollo stopped in to pick up Toby this evening. They came directly from Lake Powell, and they all looked a little tired...it's about a 4 or 5 hour drive. They said that they had a lovely time...there was only one night when it rained really hard, and 22 people had to find a spot to park and sleep anywhere they could someplace on the lower deck.

Avery and Lindsey stayed with us for a couple of hours last week while Jeannine visited her dentist.





I tended Emalise yesterday while Lindsay visted her midwife. Here she digs through the toybox for the right item with which to play school. (She's always the teacher or the mommy. I always have to be the "liddle girl."




It's an achievement to get a smile out of Ellyn Mae when she realizes that she is on camera. Here's a cute one.

Lindsay has done some fun things with interior design in their home. I love this big star on the wall.


Lisa, Terry, Logan, and Bryce are in Utah for a few weeks. Here Lisa works on cleaning the fireplace in West Point when we were there last week. (She's fantastic at cleaning and organizing. I believe that she takes after her grandma Vilate Crabtree.) We are looking at selling or renting the house.
