Back to Blogging

It seems as though we have been really busy since my return from visiting Doug and Mary Ann's family. But here I am again. Yesterday we went to West Point for our weekly task of lawn care. This is a shot of the pasture before Guenther mowed it.

It was so great to see Lindsay and her kids...we had made arrangements to meet there at the house. Ellyn is carrying a gift for GrandmaGreat..it was two lovely drawings by the g i r l s and a new Olenslager video. Kai didn't appreciate being left there for a moment by his mom.

Emalise enjoyed the trampoline, but Ellyn's unhappy that she can't stay standing up if Ema is jumping at the same time. Lindsay is sweeping off the fallen leaves that had accumulated over the winter.

Ema wanted to show me how she could twirl on the bar, but she fell on her
face instead.

Ema says that her dad taught her how to pump her legs on the swings. He did a good job.
Ema is proud of the cupcakes that she and Ellyn helped their dad make.

We love the John Deere tractor mower.

It was a lovely sunshiny day, and we had a little picnic in the backyard. Ellyn isn't happy about Ema's sitting in the chair she wanted. Sometimes being a mom is more like being a referee.
Isn't Kai a beautiful little guy?

Today after we got back from the temple, Guenther gave the spring flowers a drink of water.

I love our beautiful tulips.
And our lovely pansies.

Last Saturday evening we were getting ready to go out for dinner with the Whitings, and I wore the pretty poncho that Lisa bought for me in Italy.
