Summer stayed with Lindsay for a couple of days while Nancy was in Europe, and Lindsay had fixed Summer's hair in darling french braids. After sleeping on them, we had to undo the braids, and Summer's hair came out with these cute curls. She was so pleased, she wanted me to take her picture in front of a mirror. Lindsay, you're a great hairdresser.
Guenther and I went to visit Uncle Scott and Doris last week. Uncle Scott is 82 (I believe) and he lives in a nursing home in Brigham City, and Doris stays in their apartment a block away. She spends most of her waking time at the nursing home, keeping Scott company. He has a palsy condition which causes his mouth to open and close continually, but his mind is clear. Doris feels like he is doing well.

Ella Marcelle (Renee's new granddaughter) was blessed on Sunday. Ella's dad, Grant Hanson, gave her a lovely blessing. Amber bore her testimony and paid loving tribute to her grandmother, Marcelle. I hope that Marcelle got to hear it.
Guenther's youngest daughter, Suzanne, sent us this photo of his newest grandson, Maxwell Jeffrey Snell, born on the 3rd of January. His grandpa is very pleased.
This is my idea of a fun time...tending Emalise Jeannine. She stayed with me for an hour or so last week while her mom and Ellyn Mae visited the midwife. Ema told me that she's wearing her pretty "church dress" because all of her play dresses are too short for her. Naturally, on the following day I needed to go buy her some fun play dresses from Kid to Kid (gently used kid's clothing...I found some cute ones at a great price). I knew I'd better mention that, or else Grandma Lisa and Grandpa Terry would run out and buy her a bunch.
